PADI Instructor Courses
Take the next step as a PADI Professional with our Instructor courses! As a PADI Divemaster you can be certified to instruct Discover Scuba Diving, Digital Underwater Photography and Emergency First Response as well as participate in our Assistant Instructor Course. PADI Assistant Instructors are qualified to teach Peak Performance Buoyancy specialty courses as well as conduct Scuba Review programs and assist PADI Instructors. Participating in these course will further your teaching skills and make you more employable in the diving industry.
PADI Instructor Internship
Ocean Connections offers an internship program structured for those divers who are planning on taking the Instructor Development Course here in Roatan. This program will ensure that you get the hands on experience and specialty training that PADI Instructors require to be successful in the dive industry. The program includes five PADI specialties of your choice and instruction in reef ecology, dive equipment maintenance, boat handling, dive sales and marketing and many other areas.

Digital Underwater Photography Instructor $250
price does not include PADI materials
This course is taught over 2 days, students will complete the PADI digital underwater photography specialty course with one of our Instructors and than complete the Instructor level certification course. click here for more details on the photo specialty course.
Emergency First Response Instructor $250
price does not include PADI materials
PADI Divemasters can be certified to teach the EFR portion of the PADI Rescue Diver program. EFR Instructors can also instruct outside of the diving industry.
PADI Assistant Instructor
The Assistant Instructor course is the first step to becoming a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. Applicants will be instructed in the teaching methods of the PADI system with emphasis on academic, confined and open water training. Once completed, students may go on and complete the full PADI instructor course. Please contact us for more information on obtaining your Instructor level certification.
