Master Scuba Diver Internship

Master Scuba Diver is the highest non-professional rating a PADI Diver can achieve. Here at Ocean Connections we have created a unique one month experience where students will learn Rescue diving and first aid skills as well as specialize in five different Specialty dive areas of scuba diving. This program offers students a unique opportunity to visit some of Roatan's best dive sites with our most experienced instructors. Our program includes airport/ferry transfers, course fees, equipment rental, accommodation and PADI application fees.

Master Scuba Diver – Rescue Diver

During the first week of the program, students will complete their EFR and Rescue diver course at Ocean Connections. The PADI Rescue Diver program is one of the first steps to becoming a diving professional and is one of the toughest but most rewarding PADI courses available. The course begins with Emergency First Responder (EFR), a one day course where students will learn CPR, basic first aid, AED training and first aid for hazardous marine life injuries. This is followed by 3 days of rescue training, students will learn self rescue techniques, managing panicked and tired divers, in-water rescue techniques and accident management. On the final day students will be put to the test with three final crisis situations where they will use the skills they have learned to properly manage the emergency. The remaining three weeks will be spent completing their chosen five PADI Specialty courses - click here for more information on the specialty courses available.

During the Master Scuba Diver Internship there will also be time for fun diving and enjoying many of the other activities Roatan has to offer.
