The Mayan Ruins at Copan Ruins - An ancient
civilization rich in culture. Copán was located
in the southern tip of the Mayan Empire and for more
than 1,000 years it ruled the territory. A magnificently
carved Hieroglyphic Stairway over 1000 years old depicts
the history of 17 rulers of the royal dynasty. Copán
also has an outstanding collection of elaborately-carved
sculptures, many of them depicting rulers with splendid
head dresses.
Most people travel to Roatan for the beaches
and coral reef which is great for scuba diving, snorkeling,
kayaking and just plain relaxation. West Bay and West
End are both 20 minutes from the airport and there are
