Scuba diving in Roatan, Honduras

Ocean Connections is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center and Divers Alert Network Center located right on the water in the heart of beautiful West End, Roatan. Within minutes of arriving you can be diving on some of Roatan's best dive sites or relaxing on the beach in Half Moon Bay. West End is located just 15 minutes from the airport and situated on the western tip of Roatan where dive centers have access to over 40 dive sites. We offer four dive trips daily and beginner courses start everyday.

Roatan's reef life represents over 95% of the species found in the Caribbean and is part of the Meso American Reef system. This system is the 2nd largest reef system in the world and from the West End Lagoon we have access to over 40 dive sites including three shipwrecks, over 20 different 30m+ wall dives and both shallow and deep sandy sites, especially good for macro and home to a healthy population of reef fish, turtles, and rays. All of the dive sites that we visit are located within the Roatan Marine Park, an organization founded by the community of West End and now active in patrolling the park, installing marine infrastructure and creating education programs.

Dive Packages and PADI Diving Courses

Ocean Connections has diving packages to suit every divers’ budget and accreditation. We offer PADI diving courses from Open Water to Advanced and Rescue as well as Divemaster Internships and Dive Instructor training. If you need accommodation, we have private accommodation with air conditioning at The Sea Breeze Inn and can arrange various other activities on Roatan.

Our philosophy is that small groups, experienced Divemasters and going the extra mile to different sites are the equation for smiles on a divers face. We love diving too (so much we chose it for our lifestyle) and enjoy finding new sites and identifying the myriad of reef inhabitants.

Ocean Connections offers a variety of beginner recreational diving courses varying from half day discovery dives to the full PADI open water diver course. No matter your length of stay on Roatan we have a course to fit in your vacation.

Go Pro Internships

Whether you want to achieve the Master Scuba Diver rating or 'Go Pro' and become a PADI Instructor or Divemaster we have created an all inclusive Internship program to make sure you have the most fun in the best learning environment, here in beautiful West End, Roatan.
